The Weekly Who-Saved-Who Giveaway

Ah, a new year to start fresh. A great time for resolutions.
You know what we want to be better at?

Spreading awareness about the positive impact, and the joy of adoption.

Really, we think this is just a small gesture. At The Long Dog Clothing Company, we believe in rescuing dogs: young and old, stumpy and tall, cute and...uh, even cuter? We wish they could all be saved! One small way we thought we could help was to highlight successful adoption stories from kind and loving humans!

You see, for anyone who's rescued a pup, we find it absurd that anyone wouldn't want to save a needy dog, but the truth is, a lot of people are hesitant to do so for so many wrong reasons:

"Rescues have personality issues--they're hard to train." "I want a specific breed that probably isn't adoptable." "I have to have a puppy because they'll really love me if I get them from a young age."

We don't like telling anyone they're wrong but...THEY'RE WRONG! We have heard and read about so many successful adoption stories with all kinds of circumstances that we want to celebrate parents and the rescues that saved them.

Yeah that's right, the rescues that saved their humans...because really, who saved who

So here's how it works:

Email us at longdogclothing@gmail.com and tell us about your special adoption story. When did it happen? Where did it happen? How did it happen? How much better is your life? Each week we will pick one adoption story to feature, and that lucky pup will receive a free LDCC shirt, sweater, or neckerchief

Hopefully, as we share these amazing stories, so will you, because who doesn't love a happy ending and photos of cute doggos?! And as these adoption stories are celebrated and shared, we hope that we can touch someone and inspire them to adopt their own rescue, because we know firsthand the kind of joy that rescues bring to our homes.

So what are you waiting for? Get to writing!
